Jennifer joined ESC in February 2023. As Director of Nonprofit Consulting, Jennifer’s primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth execution of custom consulting and leadership coaching engagements.

Jennifer has twenty years of non-profit management experience as an educator, program director and advocate.  Most recently she served as the Executive Director of the Glendale Educational Foundation.  Prior to that she served in Director roles at the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and LA’s BEST After School Enrichment Program.  She brings a range of organizational development and program management experience including strategic planning, program evaluation, data management and fund development.  She has expertise in cultivating cross-sector collaboration and has been successful in forging partnerships to support after school programs and full-service community schools in San Francisco and Los Angeles. 

Jennifer is from Los Angeles, CA.  She received a B.A. in English Literature from Pitzer College and a Certificate in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).  Jennifer began her career as a K-12 teacher working in both private and public schools in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.  Earlier in her career, she served in Washington, D.C. where she developed a deep interest in public service as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Alan Cranston from California. 

Jennifer is very excited about the opportunity to utilize her background in program management and capacity-building to advance ESC’s mission.
