ESC’s Focused Strategic Planning program is designed to help organizations achieve both short- and long-term mission-driven objectives. Over the course of the engagement, ESC consultants not only facilitate the development of a new strategic plan, but also help with the critical implementation process to ensure the plan takes hold.

Our Focused Strategic Planning program is a custom-designed management process that aids nonprofits in achieving their mission and vision by identifying goals and the steps required to achieve them. ESC’s program is unique in that it provides several months of implementation support in addition to assistance in developing the strategic plan itself. Major program elements include:

Mission and vision confirmation in the current and future environment
Organizational analysis including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
Developing supportable assumptions for programs, costs, and revenues as a basis for forecasting
Objectives and goals for client programs and services, organizational development, financial management, revenue development, and Board development
Hands-on support to assist with the challenges of implementation, ensuring the greatest likelihood of success
