ESC helps Southern California nonprofits thrive!
“Without Executive Service Corps, POPS would be dead!” These are the dramatic words of Amy Friedman, Executive Director and Founder of POPS the Club.
In 2013, POPS launched its first chapter at a Los Angeles high school, providing students with incarcerated loved ones artistic outlets for emotional support. But Amy found herself continuously fighting to stabilize her struggling organization.
Just a year after entering ESC’s Executive Directors Leadership Institute program (EDLI), Amy has transformed the organization, building a solid financial foundation, stronger board and robust strategic plan. And she has found her voice as a nonprofit leader as she begins her journey to expand POPS the Club nationwide. For support on this journey, Amy continues to work with ESC through our leadership coaching program.
Amy is just one of the nearly 150 nonprofit leaders who push their organizations and missions to new heights with ESC each year, thanks to the support of our donors.
Please give today to help ESC create lasting change in our community.
Better Board, Better Future for Cambodian Communities!
ESC’s support “completely changed” the way the Senhoa Foundation helps communities affected by human trafficking in Cambodia according to Senhoa CEO, Lisa T.D. Nguyen.
Thanks to her ESC board development coach, Lisa’s team now has the skillset to achieve focused strategic planning, while feeling empowered in their role as board members.
As a result of ESC’s personalized coaching, the board is energized with newfound confidence and knowledge to push the Senhoa Foundation into a more sustainable future.
We receive a constant flow of inquiries from organizations like POPS the Club and Senhoa Foundation that are ready to make a difference in our community but need our help.
Please give today so that ESC's dedicated volunteers can continue to inspire and transform nonprofits and the people who lead them.
